After their mother's death in a suspicious fire , Sam and Dean Winchester live a life on the road with their father as they grow up. Years pass and the boys team up to find their father John Winchester, who went missing on a hunt trip. However, their father is not a typical hunter , he hunt supernatural ceatures like ghost ,vampires and spirits and he trained his sons to do the same.Along the way , Sam and Dean save innocent people , fight creatures and ghosts, and collect clues to heir father's whereabouts. Sam begin to mysteriously develop psychic abilities and visions as they travel. They eventually find their father ,who reveals that the creture that killed Sam and Dean's mother when they are young was the yellow eyed demon and the only thing that can kill the yellow eyed demon is The Legendary gun (colt) created by Samuel Colt.

before dean and sam's father john winchester went on missing , sam was studying at Stanford University and going to be graduate . but then a few day before sam's graduation dean came seeking sam help to find heir father.By the time Sam get home to see his girlfriend ,Jessica was dead on the ceiling burn because of the yellow eyed demon. This have made sam to seek revenge on the yellow eye demon for his mother and jessica.
